Politics Minor
Students in our minor gain a solid grounding in ideas, concepts, and real-world problems and possibilities of politics through a selection of at least six courses.
Course Requirements
The minor requires one lower-division politics course and five upper-division politics courses. Of these, four are to be selected from core classes in our subfields: political theory (105 series), American politics (120 series), comparative politics (140 series) and global/international politics (160 series).
Students select two subfields' core series and are required to complete two core classes in each.
The sixth course can be any politics upper-division elective numbered 100-186.
Completion of the minor does not require a senior seminar.
