BIOE 281Q Topics in Coastal and Marine Ecology

This weekly seminar centers on critical reading, quantitative synthesis, and constructive peer review in coastal and marine ecology. Combines discussion of selected publications with structured feedback on research plans, grant proposals, manuscripts, data analyses, lectures, and conference presentations. The overarching goal is to cultivate independent, creative scientists working at the interface of fundamental and applied community ecology, resilience theory, and coastal conservation.

Requirements

Enrollment is restricted to graduate students; qualified undergraduate students may enroll with permission of instructor.
