BIOL 221 Intro to Science Communication: Public Speaking and Science Writing

Course centers around developing practical skills for communicating science across various formats and to different audiences. Through guest lectures, peer feedback and presentations, students learn how to craft a short talk for the general public, short science videos, and write accessible opinion editorials for the public. Students gain experience adapting their communication style for various audiences and build confidence in science speaking and writing.
