ART 171 Art, Food, and Ecology
How can eating become an artistic, ecological, and political practice? This studio course examines food as a sculptural, relational, and environmental medium. Through shared meals, cooking sessions, field visits, and studio-based translation of gastronomic experiences into artistic forms, students investigate how taste, agriculture, and planetary systems intersect. Emphasis is placed on agroecology, environmental justice, and the digestive system as a site of learning and perception.
