FREN 105 French Regional Cultures Through Cuisine

“Tell me what you eat, and I will tell you what you are.” This famous quote is the title of a book by the French gastrosopher (philosopher of gastronomy) Brillat-Savarin in XIX-century France. His work was highly influential on brilliant authors such as Balzac and Barthes. This English course explores French regional cultures, traditions, and savoir-faire and their impact on the people.
