HCI 291 Strategy Innovation for UX Professionals

Explores the strategic dimensions of innovation in UX practice. Each week, students engage in talks and discussions that illuminate how UX shapes—and is shaped by—business strategy, emerging technologies, and organizational priorities. The focus is on sharpening perspective and building fluency in strategic conversations, preparing students to position UX as a driver of innovation and value within complex business ecosystems. This class can be taken for Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory grade only.

Requirements

Prerequisite(s): HCI 200, HCI 201, and HCI 290. Enrollment is restricted to human computer interaction graduate students or by permission of the instructor.
