PSYC 193S Field Study

Series designed to provide advanced psychology undergraduates opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to direct experience in a community agency. Students earn academic credit by working at a variety of psychology-related settings where they are trained and supervised by a professional within the agency. Faculty provides guidance on the students' academic work to connect psychological theories with the hands-on experience. A two-quarter commitment. Students submit petition to sponsoring agency. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 100. Enrollment is restricted to junior and senior cognitive science and psychology majors.
